During my Master’s in Game Design, I discovered my passion for worldbuilding. A galaxy was born: eons of conflict, ruins of forgotten civilisations, and characters carrying scars of war. Space Mavericks placed players in the middle of it all—where relics of a bygone era could shift the tide of battle.

I teamed up with my friend German (Wallok) at the 2014 PlayStation Awards, crafting Aeeda: a cooperative metroidvania where three robots crash-land on a strange world in search of a powerful energy source.

Somewhere between design and prototypes, a fellow creator said to me, “You should write a book.” At the time, it felt like bold advice, but it stayed with me.

When I returned from Oz Comic-Con, THU Japan, and PAX Australia, I realised there was a story waiting to be told. The NANOWRIMO 2023 challenge lit the spark that turned scattered drafts into Fantasy Saga.
This journey—through editing, self-publishing, mentorship, and Wallok’s extraordinary artwork—has been the most challenging, rewarding, and transformative chapter of my life.
